The Sistematica Group has reached an important agreement with the multinational group headed by the Dutch company HYVA (hyva), with a turnover of over $500M/year. On the market for over 40 years and today world leader in transport solutions for the commercial vehicle and environmental services sector (e.g. hydraulic cranes, concrete mixers, tippers and compactors), present in 110 countries (with more than 30 branches owned), over 20,000 customers and a share of over 40% of the global market for front tipping cylinders, in 2020 HYVA decided to further expand its offer, investing in the electric mobility sector and creating a company (OHM EV PTE. LTD, website: www.ohmvehicle.com), with headquarters in Singapore, focused on the production and marketing of light commercial electric vehicles (LCV: Light Commercial Vehicle), up to 7 tons in size, to address the Asian and European markets.

By virtue of the agreement in question, OHM chose Deepware Srl, a Sistematica Group company specializing in the “automotive software and firmware” sector, acquiring the controlling share and then entrusting it with R&D activities for the creation and subsequent evolution of the firmware and software components of the new generations of its vehicles (such as the “VCU: Vehicle Control Unit”, ADAS systems, infotainment software). Furthermore, the agreement with the Sistematica Group provides for Sistematica to be the reference software partner for extra-vehicle application aspects (e.g.: diagnostic platform, management infrastructure, IoT applications), not only for vehicles produced by OHM , but more generally for different sectors of the group. This partnership further strengthens the excellent positioning of the Sistematica Group in the “e-mobility” sector, started 4 years ago with the strategic partnership with the Solaredge Group (which is still one of its strategic customers). The important industrial effects deriving from the new collaboration add to the already consolidated and prestigious offer of products and services in the field of infomobility and insurance telematics, sectors in which Sistematica has been operating successfully for over 20 years, collaborating with important leading companies in the sector ( such as Octo Telematics).
