The RTI composed of Sistematica SpA and G7 International Srl was awarded the contract for the implementation of the “smart city” project for the city of Alessandria, which provides for a total investment of over 50 million. In a nutshell, the project includes: a) smart waste management (smart bins, optimization of collection routes); b) the efficiency upgrading of public lighting (more than 20,000 lighting points that will be converted to LED technology), with this infrastructure also serving as the enabling infrastructure for a range of smart services (remote meter reading, active video surveillance, electric charging); c) digital services provided through a specific software platform (provided by Sistematica).
