GUIDO ECO project

The project aims to implement prototypes of two new innovative tools for the sustainable mobility sector:

  • Establish an objective correlation between, on the one hand, driving behaviors and trim parameters, and on the other hand, fuel consumption (fuel and/or battery) andCO2 emissions
  • Enable a new method of certifying both fuel consumption andCO2 emissions (carbon footprint), for any type of vehicle, on the (objective) basis of the parameters acquired during the routes driven, so that new services can be defined for both companies (calculation of carbon footprint) and public administrations (definition a new mode of "pass" for emission-controlled zones; e.g.: ZTL)
  • The first of these two systems will lead to the creation of a new system that Sistematica can add to its offerings for the automotive sector. It can be offered either as a standalone product or as an additional component to integrate into existing fleet management platforms, starting with the platform already under development by Sistematica SpA. This will allow for a specific adaptation focused on delivering the new categories of vertical functionalities mentioned above.

The second item (the satellite navigator specialized for the 'waste collection' sector) is aimed at industry operators and can be introduced to the market in collaboration with ASM TERNI (the municipal company of the City of Terni), which has agreed to test this type of navigator.

The collaborative project

The “CO2 for LessCO2” Collaborative R&D Project is an ambitious initiative that integrates two separate projects, Guido ECO and DRAIV, each of which addresses different aspects related to reducingCO2 emissions and improving energy efficiency through technological innovation and process optimization.

The vision of “CO2for lessCO2” is that of an integrated approach to sustainability, combining innovation in driver assistance, waste collection route optimization, and sustainable mobility. The main objective is to reduce the carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency through innovative solutions that can be applied across sectors. Collaboration between different proposing parties aims to create synergies, optimize resources, and accelerate the achievement of sustainability goals.

The Guido ECO project focuses on developing solutions for more sustainable mobility and aims to optimize transport routes while promoting the use of low environmental impact vehicles. The technologies developed in this area may include advanced navigation systems, applications for intelligent traffic management, and platforms for sharing eco-friendly vehicles.

The DRAIV project focuses on creating a virtual driving assistant that uses artificial intelligence to analyze driving style and provide suggestions for reducing emissions, incorporating advanced language models and deep learning algorithms. It also aims to improve road safety and promote more responsible and less polluting driving behaviors.
