5G Smart Edge Node and Smart Objects enabling Reliable Services Extended All over the seas

Design, Develop and Evaluate a TestBed for 5G technology (precisely the Narrowband Internet of Things the NB-IoT) on a hybrid terrestrial-satellite network. The use case is that of seamless container tracking. Then the tracking of containers in continuity between land, sea and land (from port to port). The TestBed integrates with the OneM2M IoT platform (managed by TIM) which makes data available to build vertical maritime application services
